How to protect your Orange Money account?

Your Orange Money account is protected by a secret code of 4 digits chosen by you. « 0000 » is the initial secret code allocated to you by default. You must change this code before the first use of your account.

How to change the secret code

• Dial #150#.
• Select option 6, «Orange Money Options,»
• Choose option 1, « change the secret code.»
• Enter the current secret code
• Enter the new secret code
• Confirm, and your new secret code is now registered.

How to Subscribe to E.U. Mobile Money?

Go to any EXPRESS UNION branch of your choice with:

• A photocopy of your valid National ID card, receipt, passport, or residence permit where you shall sign thrice on it.
• A copy of any electricity/water bill or location plan of your house;
• 02 4×4 passport size photographs (you can also take pictures thanks to the branch's webcam).

How to Withdraw Money from Your E.U. Mobile Money Account?

There are two (2) options:

• Direct withdrawal: Withdraw your money from the branch where your account was initially created (home branch).
• Remote withdrawal: Withdraw your money from any other branch than the home branch using the following SMS syntax on your mobile phone:

RE (spacing) Agent Account (spacing) Amount (spacing) MPIN, and send it all to 8081.

For example, RE 00001234 5000 1234

How to Send Money from an E.U. Mobile Money Account?

There are four (4) options are offered when using your mobile device:

• Download the E.U. Mobile Money application from Google Play;
• USSD Code: if you are a mobile phone subscriber, dial *050# and follow the instructions;
• For vocal Calls, you can call either 8081 or 8007 and follow instructions;
• SMS: type any of the syntaxes below:

For a P-to-C ( i.e., Sending  money to a third party)

Send the following to 8081 or 8007:

• E.M. (spacing) Recipient's Phone Number (spacing) Amount (spacing) MPIN
• EM (spacing) Recipient's Phone Number (spacing) Amount (spacing) MPIN

For example, EM 675291003 10000 1234

For a P-to-P ( i.e., Transferring money from one E.U. Mobile Money account to another)

Send the following to 8081 or 8007:

• T.R. (spacing) Recipient's Phone Number (spacing) Amount (spacing) MPIN
• TR (spacing) Recipient's Phone Number (spacing) Amount (spacing) MPIN

How to Check Your E.U. Mobile Money Account Balance? 

Send the following SMS to 8081 or 8007:
