DESIGN
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a dimension of 176.15 x 87.4 mm with a thickness of 7.99 mm and it weighs 221 grams. Sadly this device cannot be put in the pockets of trousers as you might not be comfortable, but it can be placed in the pockets of jackets and coats.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a unibody with rounded corners which is made entirely of metal and provides an excellent feeling with resistance to scratches and bumps.
The back of the device contains a double slightly protruding traffic light camera and a fast fingerprint sensor. On the lower and upper sides of the front part of the device, you will find sensors, notification LEDs and a front camera positioned. Overall the device has an excellent built.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
This phablet has an inbuilt memory of 64GB expandable via microSD memory with 4GB RAM. Another variant of this device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. On-board it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is an Octa-core CPU (8x1.8 GHz Kryo 260) with an Adreno 509 GPU.
This device is based on the favourite Xiaomi’s MIUI custom UI. This device was launched with Android v8.1 (Oreo) but it was later upgraded to Android v9.0 (Pie). The MIUI contains new graphics and some features of the latest version of the Android OS with customization of Xiaomi. Some highlights this device has is the Facial Unlock, Dual App, new gestures, new notifications, split screen and some great functions.
The customization of the MIUI makes it fluid and fast even in situations where the device is stressed.
PERFORMANCE AND CONNECTIVITY
The hardware under stress gives its users an excellent performance with no glitch even in gaming.
Its connectivity is quite fantastic thanks to the presence of LTE connections with band 20 which has the potential to reach a maximum speed of 600 Mbps. It also comes with a dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and infrared port. A noticeable absent is the call of NFC.

DISPLAY
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 stands out from so many devices with its 6.9-inch display. The screen aspect ratio is 18:9 based on IPS technology with Full HD resolution + 1080 x 2160 pixels. The screen provides excellent brightness and readability under direct sunlight. The qualities shown makes it an astonishing product to play videos in high resolution.
CAMERA
This device mounts a dual camera that contains two lenses. The rear camera has a 12-megapixel sensor with a focal aperture f/1.9 while the secondary camera has a 5-megapixel sensor. This provides room to take high-quality shots. The presence of an automatic HDR and artificial intelligence gives users the liberty to have photos with colours and brightness which suits the various shooting environments.
The front camera has a basic camera of 8 megapixels with a front flash which allows you to take a good selfie.

Like its name ‘Max’ which matches its size, the Mi Max 3 comes with an enormous battery power of 5,500 mAh. This can last two days of intensive use. It also uses quick charge 3.0 technology for fast charging.
