Minister of Transport Calls on Inter-Urban Transport Agencies to Grant Free Access to Public Toilets in Their Agencies
The Minister of Transport, Mr Ngalle Bibehe J.E. Massena, informs the public that due to the tragic incident which cost the life of an element of the defence and security forces of the Cameroonian army, which occurred in the premises of the company of inter-city passenger transport Finexs Express Voyages, Douala terminal on July 22, 2020, at around 9 pm. This was shown in a video that immediately went viral on social media. Subject to the results of the investigation opened to this effect by the competent authorities, the conclusions of which will make it possible to establish with precision the causes of this unfortunate tragedy. The Minister of Transport notes that the comments accompanying the said video of what the deplorable incident would have its origin in the non-use of the toilets available within the travel agency. 
The Minister of Transport hereby calls on all inter-urban transport agencies to grant free access to public toilets within inter-urban travel agencies which fall within the competence of the Decentralized Territorial Communities.
