Below is a list of the necessary requirements to open a Teachers Training Institute in Cameroon:
- An attestation of presentation of the proprietor’s original certificate (Bachelor’s Degree at least).
- A certificate of non-conviction of the applicant not older than three (3) months.
- A certificate of land ownership of the piece of land where the school will be built. Issued by a competent authority.
- A recommendation letter with a sample form signed by an administrative authority or traditional ruler (1st or 2nd class) of the area where the school will be constructed, guaranteeing the good morality of the proprietor.
- A list of specialities.
- A technical study file comprising foundation studies of structures to be put up along with cost estimates issued by competent authorities or a technical expertise file in the case the buildings already exist.
- A geotechnical study of the soil. This should be issued by relevant services in case the building has many floors.
- The report of the field visit should be signed by all the members of the mission team (RDSE).
For legal persons, add to the previous numerous documents:
- The instrument authorising the opening of the school.
- The status and Internal rules and regulations.
- A proof of the effective functioning or activity of the legal person.
