With a Pilot Project in Cameroon's Economic Capital, Douala, Yakili is the brainchild of CEO Enonchong Michael, who was inspired by the challenges faced by students in the central African Nation's Vast majority of youths of school going age, most of whom are facing enormous challenges in the digital education sector.
Powered by the Boris Bison Youth Empowerment Business Incubator (BB Incubator), Yakili will be rolling out its first set of animated video lessons in September 2023.
How to Access Yakili
The dream of Yakili promoters is for the Platform to be accessible to as many students as possible, both in Urban and Rural areas, all levels included.
The platform will be accessible on electronic devices, including tablets and mobile phones, through applications that will be readily downloadable on all standard operating systems.

The Yakili Community Sports Walk
Yakili and the Boris Bison incubator held a sports walk in Douala on August 5, 2023, to create awareness and make an immediate impact on the community. Hundreds of students, parents, and public officials joined in the walk, which took place in the Bonaberi Neighborhood in Douala.
The event was made special by the attendance of Stanley Enow, a renowned musician and brand ambassador on an international level.
Hundreds of gifts were shared, and prizes were won by some deserving students who attended the Sports walk.
There are more Community Sports walks scheduled in the coming days and weeks. The next one will take place in Garoua on August 19th.
