Cameroon is officially known as the Republic of Cameroon. Cameroon is a country in Central Africa and West Africa. It is geographically and historically in West Africa; The country is sometimes identified as West African and Central Africa due to its strategic position at the crossroads between West and Central Africa.
Cameroon is home to over 25 million people with over 250 native languages. Cameroon is a bilingual country with French and English as its official languages. The country is often called “Africa in miniature” for its geological and cultural diversity. Natural features include beaches, deserts, mountains, rainforests, and savannas.
Cameroon is led by H.E. President Paul Biya, who rose to power in 1984.
